Who said we have to wait for others to spoil us, to make us feel special?. Why not do it ourselves, after all no one knows us better than ourselves, to know when we need spoiling the most. Only we know when we are so tired that we need a warm bath to relax our body. We can do it in the comfort of our home, learn ways to relax in home with simple techniques. An example is to add some candles in a any room, shut the curtains and any lights. Letting the relaxed setting sink into your awareness will help you regain serenity.

We can take into our own hands getting spoiled, because we know our self worth and know we deserve it. It is crucial to give ourselves a break and be gentle to ourselves. Remember we are suppose to take care of our selves in order to have something to give. We have to care of all our needs, because that is our duty. We can’t wait for others to tell us what we need or when we need it. We have to listen to our body and fulfill any needs it is telling us to address. Here is what I will discuss today for self-care from the comfort of your home.

Stop Before You Burn Out

I fiercely believe in stopping any activity before you feel completely burned out or over worked. If it is a physical activity, you want to stop before your energy drops completely. Instead, leave some space between your reserve energy to use it to recover quickly and feel energized with just a break session. After your break session do something that is not physically active, that way the next day you can still move and not feel so sore you can’t even make a move without pain in your muscles.

In the creative mental aspect of productivity, make sure to stop while you still have some ideas that you have to finish developing. That way when you go about your day in different activities, the finishing your task will be in the background of your mind. When you do that, your mind is unconsciously looking to solve your finished product. The next day when you retake the idea that had to be finished, you will have an overwhelming amount of solutions to finish your task.

It is ideal that you use the energy of your brain to bring you solutions through out the day, because being exposed to many settings, people and things help your brain come up with inspiration. If you think about the things you want solutions or ideas about before bed time, that is counterproductive. The brain has no exposure to live events to bring solutions, instead it creates problems that will allow you to avoid solving what you needed done. It will only bring your stress when you wake up, you will feel very overwhelmed and with no motivation to get out of bed.

This happens because you asked your brain to solve all your problems during sleep, that put your brain in a low vibration of worry and stress. If you go to bed in that vibration you will also wake up in that vibration, and it is difficult to snap out of it. Unless you do it in the first minutes that you wake up with an audio that has electro waves that bring your brain into a higher vibration.

You can use an audio that manifestation magic offers in their audio products that is specially for the morning time called  Wealth Awakening (click on link for sample audio) that has this as a description: The best time to listen to “The Awakening” would be upon first waking and playing it in the background or maybe use it as your wake-up tone on your mobile device. This rich, sonic landscape is expertly designed to induce a state of calm attention as you prepare to go about your day, enjoying every success you have planned and meeting wealth creation challenges head-on as you think creatively to resolve them.

Go For An Outdoor Intake

It is key to your mental well being and recharging mentally to go for a stroll outdoors. Even if it is a short one around your block, the exposure to nature is really revitalizing and helps promote new ideas. It helps when you feel your mind is stagnant and reaching a mental block or wall.

Bust Out The YouTube Lyrics

Looking for song lyrics to sing along with is a way to change your emotional state in a matter of signing a song. The reason your emotional state changes is because songs have vibrational waves that suck you in. If you pick upbeat songs you will automatically feel in a better emotional state. If you pick a sand song, you may cry while singing, which helps get the sadness out of your system. Once you pour out your tears, it’s likely that you feel done being sad and want to move on to another activity or different mental thought.

Laugh With Close Connections

If you tag along with friends to a small gathering or join any group to talk with for emotional support. This intimate setting of sharing with others can bring a sense of bringing your walls down and laughing with them. The unity felt from being in this setting, can bring such intense emotional relief. Feeling that you are not alone, that you belong some place can bring tranquility and feeling of safety.

Re-watch Your Favorite TV

Putting on a show or any TV program you have watched many times before, helps your mind relax. It can sound funny but that is why kids need to be read the same book for a week and watch the same movie over and over. Falling back to something known makes us relax. It is like my daughters tutor told me, teach 70% of old material that your daughter knows already to make her feel safe and confident. The other 30% is new material that you mix in and feels less overwhelming. When you feel run over mentally, there is no room for new information to be digested. It is best to fall back into an old episode or your to go movie. This will help your mind relax and feel help you focus on mental barriers your feel are prominent to overcome at the moment.

Ignore The Busy Work

There is many small tasks that may not be able to be tackled today, it is perfectly fine. Tell yourself, I can get the main tasks done and leave the small ones that are less urgent for another day. Remind yourself, that balance is more important than feeling burned out. Do not be so hard on yourself for not getting it all done in one day, it is crucial to do better a few things per day than do all and stretch yourself thin. When you do all of them, they will feel forced and frustrating to fulfill. When you do the ones you feel inspired to do for the day, the energy you put in the tasks will feel effortless and fun to work on.

Very true!  It’s only ourselves who can really spoil us. It all depends on us to stop the chaos within our life and relax or stop before we really get burned out.

I like best the idea to stop while you still have creative ideas in your mind so you’re excited next time when you start again.

I also stop when I can’t solve a problem anymore and just go to sleep and when I wake up, usually I have a solution.

    Very nice post, thanks!

Hi, I came across your website and absolutely love it.

Your have written your article at the perfect time: During this stressful situation, so many of us are putting self care to the bottom of the list but actually if we can follow the simple steps that you have mentioned i think it can make all the difference to our daily life.

I hadn’t thought about vibrations before bed and how that affects the following morning before, but it makes total sense and I will definitely be looking in to the audio products more.

I have to get out each day to walk the dog, and I am convinced that is what keeps me sane. I can walk out in a foul mood feeling stressed, anxious, uptight but always come back that bit lighter with more of a spring in my step, so I could really relate to that point.

I also find listening to something inspirational, be it an audiobook or a podcast really uplifting an helpful too.

Thanks again for sharing, and for telling us that it is ok for a bit of “me time”

I love reading about self-care articles cause at the end of the day, the one person that we can totally rely on is ourselves, so we gotta make sure that we take care our body and mind as number 1 priority!

And I love the fact that you touched about burning out – I haven’t thought of stopping for a bit to give our mind some rest before continuing the next day with better solutions!

My favorite way of taking some “rest” is to go and run outside (though it’s challenging now with the covid-19) and pair up with hype beat songs!

Anyway, thanks for sharing the article, looking forward for more! 🙂
